Evenhand is a 2003 drama film that centers around two cops, partners Officer Ted Morning (Bill Sage) and Officer Rob Francis (Bill Dawes). The film takes place in the fictional town of San Lovisa, Texas. These two cops could not be more different; Officer Morning is the "bad" cop, arresting people just because he thinks they are gulity, while Officer Francis is the "good" cop who is always questioning Officer Morning's intentions. Throughout the film, the relationship between the partners is looked at in depth. Even though they often argue, it is clear that the two officers have one thing in common -- to make sure the law is protected. Also shown in the film are the everyday scenarios that a police officer has to investigate including: armed robbery, domestic violence and car accidents. Evenhand is different from other movies about cops because it shows viewers what police officers really have to go through everyday.
