  • A Good Remake?

    7.0
Most remakes of horror films are pretty crappy, such as Michael Bay's Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street. This film is not crap.

This has very scary moments and tons of blood and gore. There are tons of dismemberments and is truly one of the scariest films I have seen.

The final battle with the Abomination is one of the best scenes I have seen in a horror film when Mia uses a chainsaw on the demon's face.

However, it still gives that horror remake feel I always see, such as always showing different characters at the beginning of the film that are never used again, the same film type used, constant screaming (even before the demons showed up).

Other than that, it's really good for a remake.
