Experiment in Terror is a 1962 suspense thriller about a San Francisco bank teller, Kelly Sherwood (Lee Remick), who is terrorized by a killer, Garland "Red" Lynch (Ross Martin), to steal $100,000 from the bank. Garland threatens to kill both Kelly and her younger sister, Toby (Stephanie Powers), if she goes to the police. Out of fear, Kelly contacts the FBI in San Francisco Police and agent John Ripley (Glenn Ford) is put in charge of the case. Lynch, who has a lengthy, violent criminal record continues to terrorize Kelly with phone calls. Without much to go on, Ripley finally contacts Lynch's girlfriend, Lisa Soong (Anita Loo), who refuses to cooperate. Finally, Lynch contacts Kelly with instructions on what he wants. As insurance, he kidnaps Toby, with the intent of holding her until the job is complete. With the FBI closing in, Lynch must try to escape with the money and his life.moreless
