Exposed is a 1947 crime drama starring Adele Mara as Belinda Prentice, a private investigator hired by suspicious Colonel Bentry (Russell Hicks) to find out the motives behind his stepson secretly taking out large sums of money from his bank account and renting an apartment in the city. At the beginning of her investigation, Belinda and her apprentice, Iggy Broty (William Haade), make note of two questionable characters at the stepson's apartment while on their way to Bentry's house. The investigation takes a surprising twist when, after being welcomed into the home by the butler, Belinda hears a scream and runs to the source in the library, only to find the butler standing over the dead body of her former employer, Colonel Bentry. Belinda and Iggy work against the clock to find the true motives behind the stepson's shady actions, learn who the two suspicious people are, and bring justice to Bentry's killer.
