Movie Summary

Released:
2000
Rating:
R
Eye of the Killer is a dramatic crime film directed by Paul Marcus that follows Detective Mickey Hayden (Kiefer Sutherland), an alcoholic sleeper of a cop whose thrill for the job probably died the day he picked up the bottle. When a hit to the head leads him to develop visions whenever he touches anything or anyone, he finds himself at an advantage when a stagnant serial killer, known as the Jabberwocky, resurges after ten years. Despite the clear hatred of his boss and his bad track record, Mick finds himself on the case with the help of Harvey (Henry Czerny), an eccentric man who can also “see” things, and Dr. Vera Swann (Polly Walker), a para-psychologist professor. With visions of Jabberwocky’s victims and jumbled messages from both the police department and the suspect, Mick struggles to work the case before the tables are turned and he becomes the hunted.
