Eyes of a Stranger is a 1981 horror film directed by Ken Wiederhorn. A psycho rapist and serial killer (played by John DiSanti) has been terrorizing the coastal city of Miami. The local news anchor Jan Harris (played by Lauren Tewes) has been following clues trying to figure out the killer's identity and finds out that the killer might just be her neighbor named Stanley Herbert! Now she has to gather enough evidence to support her claim before the killer strikes once more, possibly attacking Jane's disabled sister Tracy (played by Jennifer Jason Leigh in one of her first film roles). Tracy is deaf, mute and blind, AKA perfect fodder for a serial killer! The film was produced by the same people who produced Friday the 13th, which gives some hint as to the tone of this movie. The make up effects in this film were supplied by the legendary special effects artist Tom Savini.
