Face the Music, a 1993 film directed by Carol Wiseman, is a romantic comedy starring Molly Ringwald and Patrick Dempsey. The movie's central characters are Lisa Hunter (Molly Ringwald) and Charlie Hunter (Patrick Dempsey), a recently divorced couple who also happen to both be famous song writers. The two are unexpectedly reunited when Lisa and Charlie are offered one last songwriting contract by a movie producer. The contract is too good to be passed up, and the couple ends up meeting once again in the French countryside to complete the assignment. Working together after their divorce is no easy task, and the emotions run high when new love interests are revealed and painful past memories are revisited. The film is filled with passion and hilarity as the former couple attempt to complete their last songwriting assignment together. As the film continues, it surprises and entertains with its romance, comedy, and passion.
