Facing Windows is a story of a fading marriage and the longing for what once was. Giovanna (Giovanna Mezzogiorno) and Filippo (Filippo Nigro) have a slowly decaying marriage. Both hate their jobs and there is constant strife over many issues, like sex, money and work. One day Giovanna and Filippo are walking home and they find a disoriented, elderly man (Massimo Girotti). Filippo decides they should keep watch over the man and take him to the police in the morning, but one day turns into a few. In caring for the old man, Giovanna crosses paths with a man, Lorenzo (Raoul Bova), who lives across the street. She has been secretly watching him, lusting. As it turns out, he has been watching her too, and a strong connection is quickly made. Lorenzo's job is transferring him to another city soon and Giovanna is faced with a difficult decision. She is torn between her new, caring love and her old, dwindling marriage. Should she stay loyal to her family or pursue her own happiness?moreless
