Falling In Love is a 1984 romantic drama directed by Ulu Grosbard. When architect Frank Raftis (Robert De Niro) and graphic artist Molly Gilmore (Meryl Streep) meet accidentally while shopping for Christmas gifts, they have an instant connection. Unsure of what they are getting into, the two begin spending more and more time together. They ride the train in New York and meet for coffee, then lunch. Before long, they find themselves falling in love. Only one thing stands in the way of their true happiness - they are both married to other people. As their relationship grows deeper, Frank finds himself torn between his newfound love and his responsibility as the father of two children. Molly also begins to struggle with the realization that her life will never be the same. With supporting performances by Harvey Keitel and Jane Kaczmarek, this love story painstakingly explores a modern twist on an old story.
