Fandango is a 1985 is a comedy/drama about five college students going on one last road trip with their group the Groovers. The film stars Kevin Costner as Gardner Barnes, Judd Nelson as Phil Hicks, Sam Robards as Kenneth Waggener, Brian Cesak as Lester, and Chuck Bush as Dorman. The group decides to drive to a roadhouse to dig up someone or something named "Dom". They drive all night before Phil's car runs out of gas. After some talk it is revealed that Kenneth is breaking up with his girlfriend and has been drafted. To get their car moving, they attempt to tie the car to a railroad car as it as passing only to have the front of the car pulled off. They push the car to the nearest town where they meet some girls and hang out in a graveyard. After their car is repaired the group gets into an argument before Phil decides to jump out of a plane. He is almost killed due to a faulty parachute, but is able to pull the emergency chute. They find their way to the roadhouse and finally dig up Dom. They toast to their lives and realize that they are all really good friends and Kenneth decides to dodge the draft and marry his girlfriend.moreless
