Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog, starring Mimi Rodgers, Bruce Davidson and Jesse Bradford, brings to life the tale of a young boy, Angus (Jesse Bradford), who finds a stray dog and convinces his parents to let him keep the animal. Little by little the dog charms his way into becoming a part of their family and even goes along with Angus and his dad, John (Bruce Davidson), on a fishing trip. Tragedy strikes and Angus and yellow dog become separated from John in the harsh wilderness of British Columbia. While John and Katherine (Mimi Rodgers) worry that their son, Angus, may be lost forever, he and yellow dog are learning to survive on their own while searching for help. Only time will tell if their physical strength and the strength of their friendship will lead yellow dog and Angus out of the wilderness and back into the safety of their own home.
