Released:
1945
Rating:
Fashion Model is a comedic story of crime and what lengths a man must go to clear his name. Nondescript stock boy Danny O'Brien (Robert Lowery) finds himself in a world of trouble when two seemingly random people are found murdered. One of those two people is a famous fashion model that Danny was known to have feelings for, making him the key suspect for both crimes. Detective O'Hara (Tim Ryan) begins to track down the suspect, but runs into some trouble of his own. O'Brien must rely on the amateur detective skills of his main girl Peggy (Marjorie Weaver) to help him escape this predicament. Will Peggy find the real killer, or is there something much more sinister about Danny that even she does not know? Produced by Monogram Pictures, this 1945 film was directed by William Beaudine. There is enough intrigue and comedy to keep you guessing while you are laughing.
