Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a 1982 comedy and cult classic featuring a talented ensemble cast including Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judge Reinhold in a story about several high school teens who get in and out of trouble, relationships, and the education system. The film features several co-existing storylines, each focused on a different central character. Reinhold plays Brad Hamilton, a senior at Ridgemont who has it all but wants to break up with his girlfriend so he can have some fun his last year in school. Brad's little sister, Stacy (Leigh), is a fifteen-year-old freshman who wants to be more experienced sexually to make herself attractive to guys, but she soon finds out sex can really complicate things. Sean Penn plays Jeff Spicoli, a lovable and constantly stoned surfer who develops a fierce rivalry with him and Stacy's American history teacher. Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a hilarious portrait of American high school life.
