Fearless is a 1993 drama starring Oscar winner Jeff Bridges as a man changing his life after surviving a plane crash. San Francisco architect Max Klein (Jeff Bridges) becomes unrecognizable to his family and friends after walking away from an accident. He no longer has an allergy to strawberries. Rather than head home after the crash, he impulsively visits his high school sweetheart. He no longer connects with his wife, Laura (Isabella Rossellini), and young son, Jonah (Spencer Vrooman). Instead, Max hangs out with Byron Hummel (Daniel Cerny), a young boy that he assisted on the plane. He mostly wants to spend time with Carla Rodrigo (Rosie Perez), another survivor who lost her infant son. While Carla mourns her child, her husband, Manny (Benicio Del Toro), only seems interested in negotiating a large settlement. Max believes he can help Carla recover from her loss, but the price may be the happiness of his own family. Peter Weir ("The Truman Show") directs this poignant drama.moreless
