PG-13
Feds, directed by Daniel Goldberg, is a 1988 comedy about two women trying to succeed in a male-dominated FBI academy. In this film, Elizabeth "Ellie" DeWitt (Rebecca De Mornay) is an ex-marine who desperately wants to become a Special Agent for the FBI. She possesses the physical strength requirements to succeed, but lacks the talent to pass the required academic tests. Janis Zuckerman (Mary Gross) also desires to be a Special Agent. While she possesses more than enough intelligence to pass the academic tests, she doesn't come anywhere close to being able to pass any of the physical requirements of the academy. To graduate from the academy, both women must be able to use guns effectively, recognize crimes and complete the strenuous physical training. To prevent failure, these woman must bond and work together to overcome their personal faults while dealing with fellow sexist cadets and a chauvinistic FBI instructor (Bill Bilecki).
