In the play's long history tragedy prevented it from being successfully opened even once, leading to rumors of the play being cursed. The director Sanford Ash (Mark Courneyea) is obsessed with being first to bring the cursed play to stage, to the point of demanding everyone work overnight in rehearsal. However, as the actors begin dying off in strange mishaps, they all begin to wonder if the curse is real or whether one among them is a serial murderer. With doors and windows mysteriously locked and barred, the group must put their wits together and figure out the play's mystery before it claims them all as victims.
