Fingerprints is a 2006 horror film directed by Harry Basil. After overdosing on drugs with her boyfriend, Melanie (Leah Pipes) goes to a drug treatment center to be rehabilitated. Upon being released from the facility, she returns to her small hometown of Emerald to live with her parents and sister Crystal (Kristen Cavallari). Melanie soon hears a story about a horrifying train accident that happened in the town in 1957. While a school bus filled with students was on the tracks, a train hit it and killed all the children on board. Now, people say that you can put your car in neutral on the same tracks and it will be pushed to safety by the spirits of the children, who leave behind tiny fingerprints. When Melanie and Crystal decide to test the theory by parking on the tracks, Melanie sees the ghost of a little girl (Sydnee Harlan). She soon has visions of the accident, and Melanie begins to believe that somebody is covering up the truth about what happened that fateful day.moreless
