Firewall is a 2006 thriller starring Harrison Ford and directed by Richard Loncraine. The film follows the story of Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford) who is a family man leaving his wife (Virginia Madsen) and his two children to take up a new job as the President of Security at the Landrock Pacific Bank in Seattle. After the first day he is met outside the bank by his potential employer Bill Cox (Paul Bettany) who forces Jack into a taxi. IN the taxi Bill pulls a gun on Jack and tells him his family is being held hostage and that to get they out he must break into the banks security system and wire transfer $100 million. The film then bolts into a cyber thriller, in which Jack hacks into the banks computer system, breaking down all the "firewalls," to successfully transfer the money to save his family. The movie ends with a physical struggle and Jack manages to come out on top. And lucky for him he managed to cover all his tracks with the heist and successfully pin it on the rightful thief, Bill Cox.moreless
