Flesh for Frankenstein offers a horror-laced retelling of the story of Frankenstein's monster. Dr. von Frankenstein (Udo Kier) is obsessed with creating a perfect race to obey his commands. He works on assembling body parts from corpses to make the perfect male and female. He ignores his wife and sister, Baroness Katrin Frankenstein (Monique von Vooren), and focuses his sexual urges on the female monster (Dalila Di Lazzaro). His plans for the two monsters to mate and spawn a new race are thwarted by a male monster with no libido and he thinks he should find a new head with more of a sex drive for the monster. Meanwhile, the Baroness has turned to the new farmhand Nicholas (Joe Dallesandro) to satisfy her sexual needs, but she turns him over to the doctor following a disagreement. Soon, the doctor's laboratory is overrun in an orgy of death and dismemberment as his creations rebel against his rule. Paul Morrissey directed the 1973 horror satire film, which was produced by Andy Warhol.moreless
