Fletch Lives is a 1989 comedy directed by Michael Ritchie. Newspaper reporter extraordinaire Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher (Chevy Chase) gets news that he has just inherited a plantation in Louisiana from an aunt. Thinking he's hit it big, Fletch quits his job and heads to his new abode where he meets the caretaker, Calculus Entrophy (Cleavon Little). It soon becomes clear to Fletch that his plantation is rather run down. Shortly after his arrival, Fletch begins to suspect that his aunt was murdered and there is a lot of interest from people willing to buy his run down mansion. Fletch turns to his special abilities to disguise himself as different characters to get to the bottom of any evil deeds going down in his new neighborhood. In the meantime, Fletch sleeps with his realtor who ends up dead as well and Fletch is charged with the murder. Find out how Fletch fares in this funny romp that is a sequel to the 1985 film titled, Fletch.
