Flexing with Monty is a 2008 comedy-drama film starring Trevor Goddard and Sally Kirkland. The movie tells the story of Monty (Trevor Goddard), a narcissistic and bigoted bodybuilder, who prefers adoring his body in front of the mirror and having sex with blow-up dolls when he is not working out. Together with his 17-year-old brother Bertin (Rudi Davis), who keeps a rare masturbating pygmy, they both have their own queer worlds, but maintain a very good brotherhood. On one stormy day, a Catholic nun, Lilith (Sally Kirkland) comes knocking at their door to solicit contributions for an unusual cause. However, the arrival of Lilith in the lives of Monty and his brother will put their relationship to a test. Next thing they know is a surprising revelation that would uncover the truth surrounding their characters. Flexing with Monty took 14 years in the making before it was finally released to theatres and directed by John Albo. The queerness of the film has received various praises and commendations from actors Sean Penn, Robert Downey, Sr. and Danny DeVito.moreless
