Flight to Tangier is a movie about the mystery of a plane crash on its way to Tangier, raising suspicions about its cargo, and what happened to it. Awaiting the flight's landing is American reporter Susan Lane (Joan Fontaine), for-hire pilot Gil Walker (Jack Palance), black market salesman Danzer (Robert Douglas) and his girlfriend, Nicki (Corinne Calvet). During arrival, the plane crashes and burns, yet no survivors or bodies are found, along with $3 million in missing gold that was supposed to be onboard. Susan Lane and Gil Walker venture out on a quest to find the missing passengers, while Danzer and his cronies set off chasing them to find the gold. Added on to the chase is the local police chasing after Danzer and his group of black market racketeers on a hot pursuit through landscape. Lane and Walker rush to find the survivors before Danzer shows up to forcibly take the money he feels is rightfully his.
