Flywheel is a 2003 American Christian drama that tells the story of Jay Austin (Alex Kendrick), a used car salesman who regularly cheats his customers and overcharges them. Recently hired employee Bernie Meyers (Tracy Goode) is instructed by Jay to do the same, even to the point of cheating his own pastor of money. As Jay's relationship with his wife and son deteriorates he realizes that his life is headed in the wrong direction and becomes a born-again Christian. Jay then goes and returns all of the stolen money to each of his customers and makes a public apology. Unfortunately Jay is now thousands of dollars in debt, but decides to put his faith in God that he will be okay. At the end of the film Jay's business turns around and he makes enough money to pay off his debt. Also starring Janet Lee Dapper, Roger Breland, Richie Hunnewell, Lisa Arnold, and Walter Brunett, Flywheel won a series of awards from Christian broadcasting companies.
