Foxfire is the acclaimed 1955 action comedy drama from director Joseph Pevney (Man of a Thousand Faces, Tammy and the Bachelor, It Happens Every Thursday, Female on the Beach, Just Across the Street). Jonathan Dartland (Jeff Chandler, Broken Arrow ), a half breed miner in Arizona, and his sidekick Hugh Slater (Dan Duryea, The Pride of the Yankees, Peyton Place) stop to assist stranded motorist named Amanda (Jane Russell, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Outlaw, Fate is the Hunter) walking along highway in red Capri pants (Technicolor). Amanda instantly sets out to sink her claws in Dartland whom she considers pretty. The couple wed and Amanda moves into Jonathan's mining shack in the desert. From there, things go from bad to worse. Hugh starts hanging around when John isn't home. Amanda manipulates information from Slater about Dartland's past which is a mystery then sets out to snoop around on her own.
