Fragment of Fear catapults the viewer into a dark, uncertain world of suspicion and threat. This 1970 thriller stars David Hemmings as a reformed drug addict, Tim. When his aunt is murdered, Tim (who has become a successful writer) tries to help the investigation, but soon finds himself the prime suspect in a nightmarish web of impossible evidence. Struggling to make sense of his rapidly shrinking world and to track down his aunt's real killer - despite being dogged by sinister phone calls and constant reminders of his troubled past - Tim begins to doubt his sanity, wondering if even his girl-friend Juliet may be involved in what appears a monstrous conspiracy.  But might Tim be a paranoiac? Is he slipping back into a delusional state, even back into addiction? This intense, baffling story is scripted by Paul Dehn, photographed by Oswald Morris and directed by Richard C. Sarafian. How will you decipher its surprise ending?
