Freddy Got Fingered is a 2001 comedy film directed, co-written and starring Tom Green. Tom Green stars as Gordon "Gord" Brody, a slacker skateboarder who has lofty artistic ambitions but still lives with his parents. His younger brother Freddy (Eddie Kaye Thomas) is a very successful bank teller who still occasionally comes to his parent's house for breakfast. Gordon is not treated well at home by his father (Rip Torn) who desperately wants him to get a job. The film explores a unique father-son relationship while also touching on a young man's struggle to become an artist. Freddy Got Fingered was received poorly by critics. Roger Ebert from the Chicago Sun-Times gave it zero stars and wrote that "the day may never come when it is seen as funny."
