French Kiss is an American comedy released in 1995. In the film, Kate (Meg Ryan) appears to be living the perfect life. When the film opens, she is waiting for her fianc'', Charlie (Timothy Hutton) to return home from a business trip to Paris so that they can get married. Things take a dramatic turn, however, when Charlie calls Kate to let her know that their engagement is off because he has fallen in love with another woman, Juliette (Susan Anbeh). Kate decides to go to Paris to win him back and meets a thief named Luc (Kevin Kline) aboard the plane. After planting some stolen jewelry on Kate, Luc follows her on her quest to find Charlie so that he can get his diamonds back. They eventually find Charlie and Juliette and Luc pretends to be Kate's new lover in an attempt to make Charlie jealous. When her attempt to win back Charlie seems to be working, Kate must decide whether it's Charlie or Luc that she actually loves.moreless
