Movie Summary

Director:
Ryan Shiraki
Released:
2004
Rating:
R
Freshman Orientation is a romantic comedy from Element Films. This movie is about an eighteen-year-old, Clay, from the Midwest who is excited for his freshman year at a large state university. When he gets there, however, he realizes that college is not exactly the hedonist heaven of beer and sex that he had imagined it to be. Unfortunately, there is this annoying little thing called ‘class’ that gets in the way of 24/7 partying. He will not let such silly little disturbances disrupt his plans and keep him from what is important to him, so he doubles his efforts to get the girl of his dreams, a gorgeous sorority girl. Going undercover as a gay guy, Clay tries to figure out all the details about her. Things get complicated, though, when it turns out that his roommate, Matt (Mike Erwin), may be gay. Soon Clay finds himself in the middle of campus activism, gender warfare, fraternity and sorority drama, and all kinds of issues that he had never anticipated. Freshman Orientation is rated R for strong sexual content, language, and some drug use.moreless
