Friday the 13th, Part IV: The Final Chapter is the fourth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise and picks up the day after the end of the third film. Jason Voorhees (Richard Brooker) is presumably dead, killed during his latest massacre. It turns out that the coroner spoke too soon and Jason awakens at the morgue, slaughtering everyone in his path. Meanwhile, a group of teenagers rent a cabin near Crystal Lake, Jason's old stomping grounds. The group of friends set up at the cabin for a weekend of fun and soon meet the neighbors, twins Timmy (Kimberly Beck) and Tommy (Corey Feldman) and their mother, Mrs. Jarvis (Joan Freeman). While partying at the Jarvis' house, they meet Rob (Erich Anderson), a mysterious hiker with his own reasons for coming to Crystal Lake. Rob tells the teens about his sister's death during Jason's bloody rampage at the lake. When Mrs. Jarvis goes missing, the group fears that they will soon meet get to meet Jason personally and rightfully wonder if they will survive the encounter.moreless
