Friday the 13th, Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan is the 1989 seventh chapter in the popular horror saga that takes everyone's favorite hockey masked killer to the big apple to wreak havoc. Rennie (Jensen Daggett, The Opposite Sex and How to Life With Them) is celebrating her graduation aboard the SS Lazarus, along with her strict uncle (Peter Mark Richman, The Naked Gun 2 _ : The Smell of Fear), her favorite teacher (Barbara Bingham, Cop Target, Splitz, La Casa Five), her boyfriend, Sean (Scott Reeves, The Young and the Restless), all of her classmates, and a stowaway: hockey-masked serial killer Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder). One by one, Jason slowly murders each classmate and sinks the ship, stranding the survivors in New York. Rennie and the few survivors now must face Jason to save their lives from impending doom. Directed by Rob Hedden (Friday the 13th The Television Series).
