Funky Monkey is a comedy film about a spy, Alec McCall (Matthew Modine), who comes to realize that the agency he works for is trying to design a race of super-intelligent monkey soldiers and sell them to the highest bidder. He and one of the soldiers, a chimp named Clements, escape the facility and go on the run. They hide out in a small town, where a genius boy named Michael (Seth Adkins) immediately figures out the workings behind Clements's biological enhancements. Meanwhile, the man behind the monkey operation, J. Fick (Taylor Negron), perfects his monkeys and sends them after Alec and Clements. The two escapees must make use of any technology at hand as well as Michael's brilliant mind in order to stop the evil monkey invasion and destroy Fick's company once and for all. This film was directed by Harry Basil and shot on location in the United States and Germany.
