Gamers is a 2006 mockumentary comedy released by Monterey Media, which plays like This Is Spinal Tap meets Dungeons and Dragons. This picture shows a group of guys playing a fictional role playing game (resembling D&D), that are about to break the record as the longest playing group ever. The movie makes fun of situations that all D&D players would recognize or makes fun of problems D&D players have experienced when playing with friends. Another note is not to take the film too. Going into this thinking one is about to watch an RPG documentary is a recipe for disappointment. However, if viewers are looking for a humorous movie and play any kind of Table top RPG, they will be delighted. Features supporting turns by such popular characters actors as John Heard (CHUD, Home Alone, After Hours, Big), Beverly D'Angelo (National Lampoon's Vacation, Lightning Jack), Kelly LeBrock (Hard to Kill) and William Katt (Carrie, The Greatest American Hero).
