Garage Days is a musical dramatic comedy released in 2002 about a young garage band in Sydney, Australia that is trying to make it big in the ultra competitive world of rock and roll. Based in the Sydney suburbs of Newton, Freddy (Kick Gurry), will do anything to make sure his band makes it to the top. The band consists of Freddy's girlfriend, Tanya (Pia Miranda), the depressed Joe (Brett Stiller) and the constantly drugged Lucy (Chris Sandrinna) who make for a strange group when it is clear they are not all as truly motivated to make it in the big leagues as Freddy is. When their morally corrupt manager Bruno (Russell Dykstra) tells them they might be able to achieve their dreams if they get together with a record executive they have high hopes but those hopes are lost when Joe's girlfriend Kate (Maya Stange) tells Joe she is pregnant. With all the boyfriend and girlfriend switching that goes on and the constant drama it is a constant question on whether they will truly reach fame.
