Gene Autry Collection: Home in Wyomin' is another Autry classic. This film chronicles another adventure for the singing cowboy and his friend Frog (Smiley Burnette). In this installment, Autry returns to his hometown Gold Ridge to help out his old friend Pop Harrison (Forrest Taylor) straighten out his son, Tex (James Seay). It seems Tex has gotten involved in drinking and gambling threatening to bankrupt his rodeo organization. While Autry is back home, he is being followed by two newspaper reporters, Clementine (Fay Mackenzie) and "Hack" Hackett (Chick Chandler), trying to debunk his legend. However, they soon find out Autry lives up to his myth especially in two high-paced chase sequences. On top of this action, Autry also sings three of his trademark songs, "Be Honest with Me," "Tweedle O Twill," and his theme, "Back in the Saddle Again." Gene Autry lovers certainly can't go wrong with Home in Wyomin'.
