George Benson: Absolutely Live is a 90-minute concert performance filmed at Belfast's Waterfront Hall in Northern Ireland. Showcasing the talent of jazz guitarist and singer George Benson, the live performance covers popular straight-ahead jazz tunes as well as modern R & B hits. The concert features appearances from the BBC Big Band and a selection of musicians from the Ulster Orchestra. Joe Sample, founder of the Jazz Crusaders, guest stars with a piano accompaniment and solo performances. George Benson runs through a selection of famous hits including Hipping the Hop, Deeper Than You Think, All Of Me, Beyond the Sea, Turn Your Love Around, Moody's Mood and I Only Have Eyes For You. Documentary footage captures the making of the concert and includes a photographic gallery of still shots. Additional footage includes a biography of George Benson, which highlights his recording history since the 1960s including eight Grammy awards during his career.
