Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: 2nd Gig: Individual Eleven is a 2007 Japanese anime movie in the popular Ghost in the Shell series. It is an OVA movie which is a two and a half hour condensed version of the 26 episode second season of the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: 2nd Gig anime. The story involves the aftermath of two new consecutive World Wars, in which much of the world lies in ruins. When the Japanese prime minister's life is threatened, the source is traced back to a group of terrorists called the "Individual Eleven" led by a man named Hideo Kuze (Rikiya Koriyama, John Murphy). It is up to Japan's elite security team Section 9, led by Motoko Kusanagi (Atsuko Tanaka, Alison Matthews) and championed by the powerful brawler Batou (Akio Otsuka, David Kaye), to investigate the mysterious link between the terrorists and the country's rapidly growing Asian war refugee population.
