Ghost Story (1981) is a supernatural horror thriller based on Peter Straub's best-seller and featuring a cast of Old Hollywood legends, including Fred Astaire (in his final film role), Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., John Houseman, Patricia Neal and Melvin Douglas. Ghost Story concerns a group of four old men, who meet each week in their small, wintry New England town, and tell each other ghost stories. But when one of the members' sons dies in a bizarre accident and his twin brother returns home, a dark secret the group shares begins to come to light - a secret involving lust, murder, and revenge. The four men find themselves plagued by dreams of their 50-year-old secret, and the group begins to die in a series of mysterious "accidents". Can a ghost have returned from the grave to seek revenge against the wrong that was done all those years ago?
