Ghost World is a2001 film that is a mixture of comedy and drama. The main characters include Enid (Thora Birch), Rebecca (Scarlett Johansson), Seymour (Steve Buscemi), and Josh (Brad Renfro). It is the summer after graduation for Enid and Rebecca. Niether of them are very social, nor do they have perfect lives. It comes to Enid's attention that she has not actually graduated because she has not received her Fine Arts credit yet. She must take a summer art class while Rebecca is forced to find a job to occupy her time. Together, they meet an older, but not exactly attractive man who collects vinyl records. This man's name is Seymour and the two girls decide to play a mean trick on him, but it turns around on them. Enid discovers that Seymour just might be the right person to help her connect with the real world and get back on the right path.
