Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is a 2009 American romantic comedy film from New Line Cinema, starring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, and Emma Stone in a star-packed wedding-themed spin-off of A Christmas Carol. Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughy) thinks he has the perfect life: a successful career as a professional photographer and the carefree lifestyle of a womanizing bachelor. So when his brother Paul (Breckin Meyer) invites him to his wedding, he goes'but with the sole purpose of convincing his brother not to go through with the marriage! After almost ruining the event, Connor is visited by the ghost of his late uncle Wayne Mead (Michael Douglas), who wants to show him the wrongs of his womanizing ways. The ensuing exploits are laughingly funny, as the ultimate player tries to learn from his mistakes.
