Giallo is a dark and twisted 2009 slasher film brought to you by the creator of the genre itself - Dario Argento (Suspiria, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Deep Red). The film follows detective Enzo Avolfi (Adrian Brody) and his French girlfriend Linda (Emmanuelle Seigner) as they travel the streets of Milan in search of a murderous cab driver suspected of slaying hundreds of women. The killer (Bryon Deidra) notoriously lures unsuspecting models into his car, where he brutally slashes them, and photographs their corpses. Enzo and Linda roam endlessly, and begin to pick up on traces of the killer's whereabouts. However, their search doesn't really take form until Celine (Elsa Pataky), Linda's model sister is abducted. Enzo now races the serial killer to the innocent women he stalks, where he hopes to stop him in his tracks. The film also co-stars Robert Miano, Luis Molteni and Taiyo Yamanouchi. A must see for all those who enjoy a campy rendition of a ground-breaking genre once pioneered by Dario Argento.
