Glory Daze brings together a surprising cast of future stars in a 1995 indie comedy about never leaving the glorious days of college. As he heads toward graduation from his Santa Cruz college, Jack (Ben Affleck) doesn't know what his future holds. He'd rather keep hanging out with his best friend, Rob (Sam Rockwell), who's leaving town with a girlfriend. Everyone in his circle is dispersing. Dennis (French Stewart) is moving to Michigan for graduate school. Mickey (Vinnie DeRamus), an aspiring comic book artist, may just drop out, and Slosh (Vien Hong) drinks 24/7. As Jack debates his future, a punk rock soundtrack and a parade of familiar faces show up in before-they-were-stars moments. Matthew McConaughey shows up as the Rental Truck Guy, and a young Matt Damon plays Edgar Pudwhacker. Brendan Fraser and Leah Remini provide a comic high point when they get into an encounter with Affleck during a bus ride.
