Go West is a classic comedy hit starring the Marx Brothers. Based in the old west, the film tells the story of a con man named S. Quentin Quale (Groucho Marx) who decides to take a train out west to strike it rich. He crosses paths with Joseph (Chico Marx) and Rusty Panello (Harpo Marx) who, although not very bright, manage to separate Quale from his money. They all decide to travel west together, where the brothers have heard that all you need to do is bend over and pick up gold off the ground. They meet up with an old prospector named Dan Wilson (Tully Marshall), and find out his land, Dead Man's Gulch, has no gold to be found. They loan the old-timer ten dollars to get his life turned around, but little do they know that the railroad is interested in his land; this can make them all rich.
