Goal! The Dream Begins is an inspiring story of a naturally-skilled soccer player in reaching his biggest dream to play professionally for one of the world's most prestigious football teams. Santiago Mu''ez (Kuno Becker) comes from a poor family. To make both ends meet, he help his father in gardening and works as a bus boy in a downtown Chinese restaurant. He plays for a local football club in a barrio section in Los Angeles during his offs. The unfavorable circumstance of his life makes him feel that his dream of playing professionally is not possible. One day, Glen Foy (Stephen Dillane), a former New Castle United player, notices Santiago's skills and helps him to schedule a tryout with the prestigious team. Excited and thrilled to play for the team, he goes to England. The only hindrance that Santiago must overcome is to prove himself worthy to be part of one of the biggest football teams in the world. He must endure all obstacles to reach his dream of a lifetime.moreless
