Godzilla vs. King Ghidora is a 1991 Japanese monster film, and the 18th installment in the Godzilla series. The stakes are higher than ever as a group of humans and one android arrive in present-day Japan after time-traveling from the future. They claim they can use their future technology to prevent Godzilla from completely destroying Japan. The Japanese government cooperates, and a plan is set into motion to stop the monster dinosaur before terrible damage is done. However, the mysterious time-travelers may be withholding some important information. As the humans struggle for survival, other forces threaten to derail their plans. A UFO lands on Mount Fuji, and a new monster threat called King Ghidorah is created after nuclear testing mutates three strange creatures. The humans now have two terrible monsters to worry about. Godzilla vs. King Ghidora is a thrilling monster movie that reveals Godzilla's ancient origins on Earth and introduces a brand-new threat to Earth's safety.
