Movie Summary

Director:
Henry Jaglom
Released:
2005
Rating:
PG-13
Going Shopping is a movie for all who have ever experienced the ups and downs of the retail world. The main character, Holly G. (Victoria Foyt) has three days to save her business and her family. She's been conned and cheated by her boyfriend, Adam (Bruce Davison) into making poor investments with her finances and now she must recover or lose it all. She also has a new love interest, played by Rob Morrow. With all that's going on, Holly tests various ideas to save her business, including a 30 percent off everything sale. There is also a late minute revelation by her mom, played by actress Lee Grant. To add more comedy to the movie confessions from women are thrown into the movie. These add comedic relief and an insight into women's addiction to shopping. This is a light-hearted, feel good movie where a single mom conquers her obstacles and comes out on top in the end.
