Golden Needles is an action, adventure, kung-fu movie set in Hong Kong. The adventure begins in ancient Hong Kong with an old man getting acupuncture with the golden needles. He hops up and is like new and ready to do his manly duties instantly. Jump to modern-day, and everyone that knows about these needles wants them. The needles are kept in an ancient statue, and an eccentric old man named Winters (Burgess Meredith), wants the needles to make him more virile for the women. A mafia leader ends up with the statue, and a pretty woman named Felicity (Elizabeth Ashley), hires Dan (Joe Don Baker), to steal it from him. The statue changes hands a few times, and there are some mad-cap chase scenes and a lot of kung-fu fights. Dan becomes involved in many of the fights, and has a great time breaking heads, furniture, and glass. The chase to the finish is wild and crazy.moreless
