Movie Summary

Guy Hamilton

Goldfinger has a desire for gold, and the British Intelligence send James Bond after him because they think he is up to something big, which he is. Operation Grand Slam is a plot to raid the Gold Depository in Fort Knox and use an atomic device to contaminate the entire US gold supply by making it radioactive. If Goldfinger is successful with his plan, it will make his own supply of gold worth ten times its current value. Bond must outwit Goldfinger to stay alive, defeat his devoted mute servant Oddjob, who is able to kill with the toss of his hat, and charm Pussy Galore, a pilot and partner in the plot to raid the depository.
