Goliath and the Dragon is an Italian film from 1960 that was distributed in North America by American International Pictures. The movie is about a muscle-bound hero named Goliath (Mark Forest), a man who was given amazing strength by the Gods. Throughout the movie Goliath must battle King Eurystheus (Broderick Crawford) and a number of deadly monsters. As the movie begins Goliath is in the terrifying "cave of horrors". It is here that Goliath must battle a three-headed fire-breathing dog monster and an evil super-powered bat monster. After defeating the monsters, Goliath learns that his beloved wife Dejanira and his brother Ilus have both been captured by King Eurystheus. The evil King has sentenced Ilus to death! Goliath goes into a rage and promises to rescue his family members and get revenge against Eurystheus. In order to defeat King Eurystheus, Goliath must risk his life and battle a giant dragon monster in a fight to the death.
