Good Dick is 2008 indie dramedy about an unnamed girl (Marianna Palka) who meets an unnamed video store clerk (Jason Ritter) when she regularly comes in to the store to rent X-rated videos. The clerk is smitten with the seemingly shy and awkward girl and follows her home one day where he spies on her as she pleasures herself to the videos. He tries pursuing her romantically despite the girl's resistance and the barrage of insults she hurls at him. Eventually the clerk is able to talk his way into her apartment where she lets him sleep on the couch and, chastely, in her bed. Will the clerk be able to break down her defenses and win her over? Secondary characters in Good Dick include the girl's father (Tom Arnold), who may have something to do with the girl's sexually defensive nature, and the various customers of the video store, including a few star cameos (Charles Durning and Bryce Dallas Howard).
