Grandpa's Monster Movies is the fun filled, 1990 65 minute compilation of classic horror movie trailers hosted by everyone's favorite monsterrific grandfather Grandpa Munster (Al Lewis, The Munsters, Car 54, Where Are You?). Grampa Munster (Al Lewis), presents this ghoulish love letter to all the iconic terror exemplars of yesteryear including the Boris Karloff essayed Frankenstein monster, Bela Lugosi's Dracula, Lon Chaney, Jr.'s Wolfman and Karloff's The Mummy, and many others. Highlights include any segments with Lon Chaney, Sr. and Vincent Price, two horror titans who did a huge part in creating some of the screen's most memorable monster icons. Lewis' witty banter also highlights this collection, prompting feelings of nostalgia for Grandpa's beloved film show, the ABC Saturday Superstar movie.
